Inspirational quotes for students
Why did you look for inspirational quotes for students? Is it because you are a parent with a child who is struggling at school, or with learning, or are they lacking motivation? As a teacher and mother myself I totally relate.
But...as difficult as it is to see our children and students struggle it is our job to help them through it with love and support but not by taking their struggle away and rescuing them from it.
Ken Robinson (one of my own mentor's) states it best....
“When children aren’t given the space to struggle through things on their own, they don’t learn to problem-solve very well.
They don’t learn to be confident in their own abilities, and it can affect their self-esteem.”
― Ken Robinson
With each struggle they learn, but they can be learning, with us at their side, encouraging them on. The more they exercise this 'struggle muscle' inside of them, the stronger it will get, until they are able to cope on their own.
If you are one of those students then you have also come to the right place. A certain amount of struggle is necessary to light that fire in you to help you through. The following inspirational quotes for students are quotes for students from teachers in all spheres of life, from educators to sport's personalities, famous people and unknown people each with wise words of encouragement. They share, with reflection what the struggle was like. They have been there and survived often to then go on and thrive! They show you that you can too!
It is my hope that when it feels dark and difficult, that the following words of encouragement and support will guide you through to the light at the other end of the struggle. Keep going...read these quotes....write them out....print them off.....keep them right where you need to see them and take a deep breath and focus. Mostly it is only the noise of your own thoughts frightening you and making you 'think' the struggle is too much. But you've got this! See the thoughts, notice them, and then go back and focus on your breath.
This moment, the one you are in right now....it is perfect.
